Is skype advertising a virus?

This is what appeared in the top of the Skype window today. So it should be, or is it Yandex-mailru-defender-super-browser?

It turns out that this is not a virus, I received a letter that I had not used the funds for 180 days and they were "frozen", I went to my personal account, clicked to activate the funds, re-entered Skype: the ads disappeared.

Skype remove ads - IE settings, security, websites, block " https://apps.skype.com/ ".

Yesterday I didn’t observe such heresy at home, probably they got sick of it overnight, or it’s still a virus.

I have had it for quite a long time, on all devices. But advertising only Microsoft software. Those. not if you have something wrong, then consider that yes - a virus. Otherwise, no, MCs have already advertised their products on Skype for a long time.
But I looked at the update, I don’t have one :) This is already something suspicious.

Skype ads keep spinning. Someone at the top of the screen, someone on the right. Depending on the physical dimensions of the window. Get used to it :) It's free :)
