Is remote access secure?
Good afternoon, I would like to know about the security of remote connection to a work PC from my home using Cisco AnyConnect. In fact, only one question is of interest: is it safe to keep any personal information on your home PC? Or is it better to organize two wasps on two disks, leaving one only for work.

In your case, it's not safe. Cisco AnyConnect has a feature that allows an employer to download and execute any binary on your computer with administrator rights.
Two wasps on two disks is a good option, but only on the condition that you physically disconnect the home disk from the computer each time before booting into the working OS.
A better option is to install a working OS in a hyper-v or virtualbox virtual machine and work in it.
Yes, No, Maybe.
So VPN is designed to connect computers on a network through public channels.
Dangers (cons):
* more open ports and services
* a virus is possible that works on the network
* since this is a trusted network, antiviruses and firewalls relax
* interception of your traffic if you set the default gateway
Pros:
* usually complex in normal networks approach to security and there is nothing to fear
* due to traffic filtering, you can be protected from any threats from the outside
* perhaps they will also give you a corporate antivirus for vpn
In general, the pros outweigh
Yes, it's safe.
But you still don't believe it?
We have exactly this thing in our company, and I know for sure from the inside that remote access to either the user’s PC or his files is not something that does not exist in principle, and even if it does exist, our bosses will put us on bottle.
Safe, but only if configured by a specialist and following best practices from the developer.
