Is pure-ftpd good?

Background (you can not read)
3 nights fighting about vsftpd putting it on your virtual server. On a Debian 7 machine. Installed vsftpd 2.3.5-3 (stable) and installed vsftpd 3.0.2-17 from the repository (testing/Debian 8) reinstalling Debian 7. or errors are thrown. This is not the first time I have set up software on Linux, but this is the first time I have encountered such an armored person who does not write anything in the logs. Sorry fans of this vsftpd, but it's not for me.
The essence of the question: how good and bad is pure-ftpd?
Now I want to install pure-ftpd, I considered it better than others, excluding vsftpd.
If this is not so, I will be glad to hear your opinion with arguments.
I needit is easy to write to the server from two different ftp-users the data transmitted by them. These users must be with their directories, they cannot go to each other. No anonymous access. I don't care how the authorization will be organized, the most important thing is to load the server as little as possible.
