Is nginx required for Drupal?

The developers recommend Apache. Nothing seems to be said about nginx, which means, in theory, only Apache. Question - for example, I have nginx, and I want to install nodejs. Will there be any pebbles in the wheels from such a neighborhood? Or just Apache? Thanks.

Nginx can always replace Apache. But if the CMS developers did not take care of its support, then you will have to do it yourself according to the instructions .
