Is .net framework needed on a domain controller?
Hello, I installed windows server 2003 R2 standart sp2 and I want to use it as a domain controller.
I decided to update via WSUS, approved all updates without exception and installed them automatically. The update went without errors, but not one .net framework was installed. It seemed strange to me, because. I remember that when updating windows xp, all frameworks were installed automatically. But given that I will use the server only as AD, the question is: - Are frameworks needed in this situation?
