Is my PC build worth it?
Currently, I have a question about building a PC. Having studied a large number of materials and taking into account the limited one-time budget, I came to the conclusion that I will temporarily stop at an intermediate assembly.
First of all, I will use the computer for my hobby - creating music. The Ableton sequencer with its plugins consumes a fairly large amount of RAM and CPU resources. In addition, it is much more convenient to work with a fast disk.
As for games, I rarely play them, and in this matter I am undemanding to the computer. Most likely, my pool will be old games a la the Stalker series, GTA San Andreas, old games from the Need for speed series, etc.
The stores where I am considering a purchase are large domestic chains, I would like to have at least minimal guarantees :)
In general, I would like to assemble for several years ahead with minimal gestures, from an upgrade (except for the purchase of the components listed below) - perhaps upgrade the video card. As for overclocking, then perhaps it will be, but within reasonable limits. Now I don't understand it at all :)
The assembly looks like this:
1. AMD A8-9600 OEM processor
2. Aerocool Verkho 4 Lite cooler
3. Asus Prime B350M-A motherboard
4. Deepcool Smarter case black
5. Corsair Vengeance RAM LPX [CMK8GX4M1A2400C16] 8GB 6.250GB
WD Blue SSD
7. Power supply Chieftec iARENA Series 550W [GPA-550S]
2400 memory had to be taken because of guaranteed work with A8 processors - it is written in many places that faster RAM may not be compatible with a processor that only supports 2400.
In the near future, the assembly will be brought to the final. I plan to :
- buy another Corsair Vengeance LPX stick
- buy a 1 TB WD Blue [WD10EZEX] hard drive
- add an MSI GTX 1050 2 GB video card
- replace the existing processor with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Please evaluate the feasibility of such a temporary option and help with the following questions:
1. I want to be sure that I will not have to reflash the BIOS after updating the processor. As far as I understand, motherboards from ASUS provide for backward compatibility in their BIOSes. That is, all boards that support the Ryzen 5 line will work with older processors?
2. Concerning compatibility. The motherboard website doesn't list the SSD and RAM I chose as compatible. In general, everything that is indicated there is usually not from the budget price segment :) Will SSD and RAM be compatible with the motherboard?
3. The memory that I chose has a frequency of 2400 and timings of 16. I was guided by the list of compatible ones on the motherboard website. If I take the same one with 14 timings, will it be worthwhile? Or do you recommend taking some other trims in the same price category?
4. Confused with the pins on the power supply. The processor power on the selected motherboard is 8 pin. The power supply has 4+4 pins. This is the same? The same question about 8 and 6+2.
5. Despite the fact that I want to buy everything in offline stores, is it worth in theory to consider buying a processor and video card in China?
Thank you in advance for your help. I apologize for the clumsy presentation and design, I am writing the question from the phone.

The motherboard is better fresher on the 450m chipset, and the percentage is better than the ryzen 3600 (you can use 3500X from China, but by no means the original 3500), then you can put the memory normal (ideally 3600+). Vidyahu less than the GTX1060 (and better than 1660) do not take - it will be money down the drain. It is better to take a cooler with a slightly larger margin, either older models from the same Verkho 4 and Verkho 5 line, or some kind of popular gammax 400/ID-COOLING SE-214L.
You will not need to drive anything, but if you really want to, you can overclock the memory and lower the timings - for modern AMD this is the main "booster".
The power supply is suitable, 4 + 4 is power for a percent, 6 + 2 is a power supply for video cards, in no case should you confuse them.
You can take a percent from China, it's not worth the video - the card is heavy and the delivery will eat up the savings.
