Is mootools dead?
I have been using this wonderful framework for about four years.

Last released February 2012. There is actually no community, the unofficial forum (http://www.mooforum.net) does not work. There are practically no ready-made solutions that work on version 1.4.x.

There are those who haven't changed with jquery yet?

I didn’t change it) It’s hard to get off mootools to jquery, in jquery it’s mainly working with the DOM, and mootools has a lot of other things. And I would not say that mootools really like it. But mootools + github.com/anutron/behavior is an approximate analogue of “jquery + knockout.js + many more small libraries”, it turns out, it’s a completely working bunch (somewhat verbose, though).
We look at mooforum.net :
I'm sorry guys but it seems like mooforum.net has been hacked :/I currently neither have the time nor the money to properly repair it and put it online soon.So this will probably be offline for quite some time.If you have any problem with that you can contact me at daKmoR (at) gmx.at. You may find help here:http://groups.google.com/group/mootools-users
