Is microdata necessary?

The question is
: If you optimize the entire site using microdata, how much will the site increase in search?
In general, do they help?
If someone has exact data on this, it would be great :)

The more complex the site structure, the more it makes sense to think about a microdate.
In other words - write a microdate if you want the PS to understand that this div is crumbs, this is an address, this is a comment, this is a rating ...
For standard html tags are stupidly not enough for semantics.

By itself, micromarking will not increase positions 100%.
However, if with its help you change the snippet in the search results a lot, then the CTR will probably increase, and thereby increase the positions due to behavioral factors.
