Is it worth taking a programming course?

Hello!
I have been working on the freelance services exchange for 8 years and I run my projects, I work with Java and PHP.
I have no higher education, but I want to find a job in the IT field in a company (not remotely).
Is it worth it to go to programming courses to obtain a (programmer certificate) provided that the knowledge and work experience is already available.
It is for a potential employer in my resume that I want to indicate that there is a certificate of a programmer.

If you have knowledge and experience (which is already valuable in itself), but you want confirmation, then look at official certificates. Get official certification. Its value will be greater than from a piece of paper issued by a certain office, especially since now various online courses are in trend and there are a lot of courses in which they will simply retell the documentation for your money.

have a programmer's certificate
there are no such certificates
There are certificates that can signal that a person has passed tests for knowledge of some technology
Those certificates will have to be confirmed by the interviewer
Over 8 years you should have accumulated a portfolio of decent projects - these are your certificates
