Is it worth solving problems on codewars?

If I want to become a web developer, do you think it's worth solving problems at all, for example, on codewars, or is it better to learn from real tasks that will be useful at work, for example, creating web applications.

I myself like to work out this nonsense, but now I’m more on https://codefights.com/
There is more sophisticated gamification and there is an emphasis on algorithms, which attracts me.
It brings benefits, but do not forget about project work. Solving these problems will not tell the employer anything. They can improve the efficiency of real work, but not by much.

codewars helped me learn how to think and apply the knowledge gained from books on Python. Therefore, it is worth it.

At the beginning, it's definitely worth it.
Until the syntax and basic algorithms are deposited in the spinal cord, it is better to train on simple and abstract tasks.
It is better to move on to real problems later, when you can write functions and classes of medium complexity almost without thinking.

tasks on codewars are like scales for a musician, which they always play.
real tasks are like real works.
one does not exclude and even complements the other
