Is it worth limiting hdd in lxc with some methods like lvm?

There is a dedicated server, it has debian jessie + proxmox 4 + lxc
2 hdd , raid 1
Restricted hdd to standard proxmox PU, but is it convenient/reliable?

lvm not for limitation, but for convenient disk management

if you often repartition disks or you need to take snapshots, then you should use lvm
