Is it worth it to try to pass interviews at this stage?

Hello, I am 17 years old and live near Moscow. For personal reasons, I already work and support myself (The work is not related to iT, which I want to get rid of as soon as possible).
Learned:

  • HTML
  • CSS/SASS
  • JS/ES6
  • React (At the beginning level, I have fundamental knowledge and experience in writing a calculator-like application)

In 2 months there will be a college diploma (a profession not related to the IT industry in any way).
In 2 weeks I will be 18 years old.
The question is: should I start going to interviews as soon as I turn 18, or is it too early at this stage? What are the pitfalls in employment without a serious education? What is the best way to evaluate your opportunities for getting a job?
ps Interested in positions junior React, junior JavaScript developers

The answer is "worth it"! And you don't have to wait 18 years, winter or elections. Prepare your resume. Look for vacancies and apply wherever you can. Most likely, the first interviews will be unsuccessful, but with them you will understand your gaps and be able to improve your knowledge. If you do not stop, then in a month or two you will be with some kind of job. Most likely, the first job will be in some shabby studio and they will demand everything from you in a row, but that's even good. After another half a year, a year you will repeat the search, when you become more experienced. For now, I advise you to switch to the mode of absorption of skills related to the desired position and direct all your energy to their development. A good place and money will come with time. In general, do not wait for the weather by the sea, start going to interviews, along the way you will figure out what exactly needs to be tightened up, who is needed in the market,

If you don’t have hands or eyes, of course you shouldn’t go to interviews
