Is it worth it to require remote work to be prescribed in the contract?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a new job. One of the requirements (mine) is remote work. So, the question is, is it worth requiring that this be spelled out in the employment contract? How feasible is this requirement (I'm new to TC)?
I often come across this answer: we can work remotely by agreement with Team Lead or depending on the project. What does not suit me at all is that I want the employer not to wait for me at the office at all.

This is called an employment contract for remote work. It is regulated by Chapter 49.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
If you only want remote work, discuss it right away.
UPD
Really agree on remote work. For the employer, this is the absence of costs for creating a workplace. On the other hand, there is a lack of control over the worker. So there are pros and cons.
It is also possible to change the contract for a specific employee. But this is the case if the employer is interested in your candidacy.
If under the contract work in the office, but the point is that "agree", then you can really agree and work normally. Only at any moment they can say to come tomorrow at 9 o'clock. And in a particularly conflicting case, fired for absenteeism. So be careful with agreements.
The contract is the result of non-resistance of the parties. We discuss any contract, any requirements are acceptable, not contrary to the current legislation. Another thing is that in our mentality there are more and more "fishy" contracts, "sign like everyone else and don't get pissed off", "what, the smartest one ?!" and that's it. The inquiring employee is unprofitable for the employer, as well as unnecessary chores under a non-framework contract. Just like a bank, anyone who wants to discuss their contract, who notices an asterisk, a footnote, etc., is disadvantageous. In short, keep it up.
What kind of nonsense are you talking about, if the company is ready for remote workers, then ok, if not, then the contract will not help you.
With the remote work prescribed in the contract, the company needs to make additional gestures, the same compensation to you for the independent organization of the workplace. I can’t describe everything exactly, but in any case, few people will do this for the sake of one employee.
