Stores generally should not be done on CMS that are not designed for this.
Using Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, DLE to create stores is the best of the best!)
There are a bunch of normal SPECIAL solutions for stores:
OpenCart, Shop-script, Bitrix, eCommerce, PrestaShop.
The rest is like removing teeth through the ass.

Costs. It is worth it if you need to create an online store quickly, cheaply, at minimal cost.
From my experience. Created a store on Joomla + Vmart, promoted, accumulated a pool of tasks for non-standard solutions. Changed to an engine running on the framework.

sometimes I come across stores on Joomla. mostly based on VirtueMart.
Basically, the trouble is with duplicate pages + they usually slow down,
I don’t know what it is connected with, but I believe that someone can make a good store on Joomla.
