Is it worth it to combine weak articles on the site into one huge article?
The site has a lot of blog content. But there are very similar articles that are weak in themselves, not bringing traffic to one huge article? What do you think? Yesterday I read John Mueller's advice:
"Mueller doesn't advise deleting pages simply because they don't get traffic. To make pages perform better in search, he advises to merge them: create stronger pages from hundreds of weaker ones - provided that their content is really useful for users."
Should these articles be merged into one?

Yes, of course it's worth it.
Firstly, if these articles do not bring traffic, then you do not lose anything (do not forget to redirect only from old articles).
Secondly, if a new article reveals a topic more fully, then it will receive traffic. At the same time, it is worth looking at what is now in the TOP on the topic on which the articles are, how well the topic is covered there, and, if possible, supplement your own.
