Now the price of litecoin in relation to the complexity is very attractive. Bitcoin, in my opinion, has too much difficulty due to the advent of asic.
You can see how much kH / s can be squeezed out of the video card here: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison
Calculate how many litecoins per month here: https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc
Well, look at the price of litecoin on exchanges. For example, btc-e.com .
Now a single 7950 video card completely fights itself off in less than 2 months. Unless, of course, you find it on sale. I have a 7850 graphics card and have been mining novacoin for the past month. Just like that, for the sake of interest. But about a week or two ago, there was a strong jump in the price of nova and litecoin. As a result, in a month I got almost 3,000 rubles (4 novacoins). And I mined less than 24 hours a day. Litecoin should be even more profitable, because. it costs more.

Bitcoin is now mined mainly on specialized chips, so trying to count them even on video cards is almost useless.

Currencies that are based on the Scrypt algorithm make sense to mine on video cards, and those on SHA256 are mined on ASICs, video cards are not competitors here.
