Is it worth changing?

Hello.
It costs i3 2100 and 8 GB of RAM. I don't play, I work in intellij idea. I would like to speed up, in terms of assembling projects.
There is a good option for the price: Intel DX79TO (2011 socket) + Core i7-3820.
Is it worth building a computer on this socket? Maybe there are other options? What hardware parameters should you pay attention to for comfortable work in intellij idea?
Thank you.

from the budget, comfort began to work for me when the RAM is 24GB and there is no paging file, i5 2400, 2 ssd, one for Windows, the second floor is ide. Without a concept of lope there will be a gain from s2011. I started with a computer, as you have now - darkness

Well, i7 is definitely better than i3 - 4(8) cores versus 2(4). You just need to throw in the memory, but if the attendants are only to replace the processor - change it unambiguously
