Is it worth buying a macbook pro 13 2015 to replace the same old laptop?

Hello.
There is an old laptop - asus k56cb, i5, 8gb, gt 740m. I have been using it for 5 years.
The battery has already changed on it 1 time, the matrix cable 2 times. There are cosmetic defects in the form of a crumpled corner, broken fastenings of the matrix frame (it is held on with double-sided tape), and one thread holding the cover is also broken off (everything is holding on like that, but the fact is). Also, the block feeds is already similar to Frankenstein.
There is an option to buy body parts, other batteries and power supplies and continue to use it. But it's still a cost, and I want something new.
The question arose, how to be? My eyes fell on the MacBook. I heard that 2016-2018 models are problematic. 2013-2015 are less problematic. 2015 is the freshest of the three, and I'm actually considering it.
On my asus I watch YouTube (maximum 1080, no longer pulls), movies, surfing in chrome. Very rarely Photoshop and Corel. With Photoshop I can process some kind of photo / picture once a month and that's it. That is, I don’t do it professionally and a lot/often. So is Corel.
For me, autonomy, appearance, mobility and the same requirements that are fulfilled on the asus are important. On the first two points, the MacBook impresses me. 5-6 hours of watching movies, against 2-2.5 on the asus. The appearance and weight are pleasing, 13.3 "is still lighter than 15 on the asus. And the matrix, against the asus tn, wins a lot.
I drag the laptop to the dacha, somewhere in nature, etc. In principle, 15" is not really necessary.

I read some similar questions here, but there people write mainly for work. I have slightly different issues.
Will MacBook 13” pro Retina 2015, 8gb, i5 be enough for my “super” tasks? I heard that this is more of a typewriter, but maybe these pieces of iron are enough to calmly surf the Internet and watch YouTube with movies.
I have iPad 5 and iPhones. I would like to try the axis.

Or is it worth paying attention to something else?
Thank you.

I forgot to add - the budget for this whole event is 50000r

Questions like this should be punished. Seriously. SchA here again srach flare up.
My opinion: it is not necessary to dig out a stewardess (repair an old laptop). She died so.
Whether to take poppy of 15 years? Yes. None of the laptop will not give such comfort. But under three conditions:

  1. Do not put Windows there, otherwise a fair amount of convenience will be lost;
  2. Do not expect a miracle of miracles. Poppies have dignity in many small things that are noticeable during long-term operation.
  3. Try to get rid of the mouse. At all. Go to Mac's touchpad. It's not easy, but it's worth it. It's like learning to ride a bike. At first it is not clear how to do it, and then it is not clear how I lived without it before.

It should also be noted that poppies have a weak point - the power supply cable. They die faster than any other cables, but now there is a good alternative - usb-c power supplies and various adapters. You can choose a version better than the original.

As not a fan of poppies, in such a budget, I would suggest more recent models, albeit not so branded. Xiaomi , for example.
Or, if it's simpler, something in the region of acer swift 3. For 50, you can, perhaps, find a good dell for 1-2 years.
There are many things to suit your needs. I took a lenovo for myself for 30k. I7 16gb, well, except that the video is weak, but I don't play "tanks".
A five-year laptop, even if it's a poppy, I think it's a big lottery. But here, as with a machine ... how many people, so many opinions
