The ClientLogin authentication method seems to be deprecated according to the documentation, but can it still be used? Do I specifically need to fill images in Picasa?

It still works for me (used for the Content API for Shopping). So it's probably possible.
But he himself began to use OAuth 2 in fresh scripts.
