Is it reasonable to use jQuery in a React project?

Good day. There is the following dilemma:
I'm learning React and trying to write something on it, in my case it's using a weather forecast api with a choice of countries, cities, etc., etc.
I use bootstrap in my project so as not to stylize all this myself. But here is the problem: it is simply impossible to implement a bootstrap menu without the jQuery library, as I understand it.
How stupid would it be to import bootstrap into a React project for stuff like this?
