Is it really possible to get a job in IT in Australia without a specialized diploma?

I'm about to move to Australia. I have a structural engineer diploma and 7 years of experience in this field, in fact, in this specialty, and I want to be confirmed and receive a permanent resident visa. But construction has long bothered me worse than a bitter radish, I took up self-education, learned ruby and rails. Does it make sense to bother before leaving and enroll in a master's program here in order to have a Russian IT diploma? Or will my experience (by the time of departure it will be a little over a year) and certificates of online education be enough for employment?

In Australia, worker visas are issued by the state if you, by age and so on, gain the required number of points, you are not required to receive a diploma

As a result, I still entered the master's program at ITMO, while the whole process with a visa is underway, I will have time to finish)

Whether you can specifically get a job depends only on you
. The crust does not take away points if you follow the profile. If you
present a builder’s crust in the IT office, they won’t understand you (if the company is not engaged in IT in this area)
IMO it makes sense to move when you are already there an office is waiting or you already have a freelance job and just go surfing for fun
