Is it possible today to get a job as a coder knowing only HTML and CSS?

Is it possible today to get a job as a coder knowing only HTML and CSS? If so, what test tasks and requirements did you have when you got hired. I made several sites, including adaptive ones, so far only basic knowledge, naturally I haven’t studied boostrap or JS (JQuery) yet. Typesetting for yourself is good, but in such a static situation it is difficult to develop. I need direct experience, at least as an apprentice for any salary.

The more you try, the more likely it is.
The question is completely wrong. This is not an exam! Every company asks what the company needs.

On hh.ru I see such a trend - layout is given to remote vacancies of a layout designer, you can start by sending a resume to low-paid vacancies by salary, there you might have a chance.
1) your value and chances will increase when you know and be able to pull the layout of at least corporate information sites on popular cms (here is an example of a requirement for a layout designer in every second job - Joomla, Bitrix, Drupal 7, Wordpress)
2) An important point in every second vacancies - Availability of an up-to-date portfolio. You take and monitor real applications on the exchanges, there are layouts, you make up and post your portfolio on your website. Complete a dozen applications for yourself for learning purposes.
3) Your value and chances will increase when you master js. This is a requirement for most jobs.
4) In parallel, work on the stock exchanges - this will increase your skills and experience in your specialty.
On average, you need to study hard and gain skills for 1-1.5 years to reach the level of a novice specialist who can solve most of the problems.

Perhaps a couple of years ago, at least. I joined a grocery company that is developing an online hotel booking service. I knew at the minimum level html, css (scss), a little gulp, bootrstrap, and probably everything. They took on an internship, after which they took a staff. Now I work in the same company as a frontend developer. So everything is possible, there would be a desire and desire to study something.

I think no one needs a coder with HTML and CSS.
Learn CSS preprocessors, SVG, task runners, JS basics, jQuery, Bootstrap, Git and then boldly into battle.

If knowledge of HTML CSS is at a high level, then quite. Now there are so many JS frameworks that need adequate (and fast) HTML CSS layout. IMHO.
Go freelancing, start with small projects (remake, fix layout, make up a button).
PS: if you make layout on pure CSS faster and better than competitors using preprocessors and other tools, it's up to you.

Of course not. There are no such vacancies for 2 years already. Just a couple of years ago - they would easily have flown into the sphere.
Now, even when the vacancy is called "coder", the requirements always include JS ES6, GULP, and most often also skills in REACT or VUE, and they call this "coder" today.
