Is it possible to use two video cards at the same time: integrated into modern processors and discrete?

Some time ago I heard that it is possible to use two video cards at the same time: integrated into modern processors and discrete.
Those. the connection scheme is as follows: two monitors to a discrete one and two to the built-in outputs of the motherboard. Trying to find information by googling, I did not find anything, with the exception of switchable solutions from Intel. If I searched badly, then indicate the path, but if this is the fruit of my inflamed imagination, I apologize.

Yes, the scheme is such and, in principle, it works (only I connected 3 monitors), no special settings are required
ZY . I remembered to put it in the BIOS - the built-in video is always on and initialize the built-in adapter first
