A strange thing happened the other day - the video card support slipped from its place and rested against one of the video card fans. How long she stood in this position is not known, but certainly not less than a couple of hours. At the same time, the video card feels kind of good - after removing the obstacle - the fan is spinning, the video card in benchmarks shows a normal result, behaves adequately. But the question is - could something burn out, for example, inside the video card during this time, or is there still some kind of fool protection in such a case?)

Your, specifically, video card has three fans. And either the other two coped, or there was no significant load on the video card all this time.
Without fans, the video card will work at all, but how long it can withstand depends on the load, duration, temperature in the case, etc.
In the worst case, overheating and destruction of components threaten.
