Is it possible to use older versions of Windows for comfortable development?

I ran into a problematic laptop that literally does not work on Windows 10. I sat on Linux, but no matter how good it was, my field of activity (dotnet and unity) does not allow me to work on it normally. I'm thinking of switching to the old version of Windows, 7-rku or 8.1. But the question arose, will I have problems on older versions of Windows when developing applications using Blazor / WPF / WinForms (on Rider) and developing games on Unity?

Googled on the Internet but no one gave a clear answer, everyone just writes about security and blah blah blah, they say 10 is better in this regard, so take it, ignoring everything at all, but this topic is absolutely not interesting to me. No one has ever described the risks and problems that one can potentially face in the work, spawning thousands of useless articles about the lack of security patches.

Hmm, just for repair. However, I would try to rearrange windows, removing all the whistles and fakes.
Plus, it is possible that the cooling system is clogged or the thermal paste has dried up.
The laptop is good enough, so deal with the software

There will definitely be problems with Blazor, because it actively uses websockets that are not normally supported on win7 (Blazor server)
There should be no problems with Unity, but there will be no directx 12
There should be no problems with WPF, but who knows what will happen when using . net core versions of WPF
Same with winforms and .net core in general.
UPD: Deal with the computer

On the Asus website for this laptop there are drivers for windows 10 (did you install them by the way?). So ten should work on it. And she's not the problem.
