What is the best file system to use for Windows and Linux?

I want to allocate space on the hard drive for the common files of two operating systems installed in parallel on the computer. What is the best file system to use?

There are as many as 1 options: NTFS, since there are no normal drivers for ext *, btrfs and other Win drivers, but ntfs-3g is completely fine.
FAT is not considered due to backwardness.

Well, I slightly disagree with chupasaurus . Still, there are normal drivers. In general, if you plan to work more under Windows, then rather, as chupasaurus said , NTFS. If under Linux, then you can try, for example this:
