Good afternoon. Tell me please. Is it possible to use a domain (domain zone) that does not correspond to the theme of the site?
For example, a domain about real estate (.immo), but I use it for a website for a completely different topic?
What are the downsides, what are the risks?

No one interferes, unless you consider it just stupidity. So I bought the wetkitty.xxx domain for a hundred thousand millions - and I post it there - all of a sudden photos of cats (animals, Felis domestica), which are being bathed :) It seems to fit the theme - that's just the zone of porn sites :)
There are no risks.
Cons - well, the non-obviousness of the location, but now they are still looking through Google ...
