Is it possible to upgrade WIndows 8 c Core to Enterprise while keeping the installed software?

Actually, did anyone come across?

When I switched from Release Preview to RTM, it was updated directly from under Windows, but the software crashed.

As far as I know, the differences between the versions are only in key.

Yesterday I sat for an hour, updated. Immediately from Core to Enterprise, it does not want to upgrade, so it first upgraded to Professional (installation directly from under Windows). And then from Professional to Enterprise. The whole process took 2 hours.
