Is it possible to upgrade the laptop processor from Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge if they have the same G2 sockets?
According to the documents in the laptop, the QM67 chipset and the i7-3610QM processor are not officially supported, but there are other third-generation processors in the supported list, and by analogy with the desktop chipset, which ends in 67 has support for Ivy Bridge. Does anyone have experience with upgrades?

if you have i5 or i3 there, then i7 will not pull you just cooling.
