Is it possible to update only one element parameter via the 1C-Bitrix API?

Good day to all! The question is, is it possible to update only one parameter of an element using the CIBlockElement::Update function and at the same time keep the previous parameters and not overwrite them? Or is there another method? I only need to update the sort parameter, everything else needs to be saved. Thank you.
