Is it possible to take RAM with a frequency higher than the maximum frequency of RAM specified in the characteristics of the processor?
Now the processors have a maximum memory frequency of 2666 Mhz, but looking at all the RAM available on the market, both 3000 and 3300 Mhz come across. I also watched one of the YouTube videos, in which the dude said that now most CPUs can even work with 4000. And the question arises, who to believe? Decided to ask the opinion of a third party.
Can I get DDR4 from 3200 MHz on an Intel Core i7-9700K ?

Can. But it won't work any faster.
Lies.
That's right: "some modern models can"
And if you're going to overclock, then add a good cooling system.
And see what your motherboard can do.
