Is it possible to switch from UTII to a patent in trade management 10.3?

Hello! Tell me please Is it possible to switch from UTII to a patent in trade management 10.3 and what needs to be done for this? Until you can figure it out. Friends said that it is necessary to switch to UT 11.4 or Retail. Is it so?

UT is such a thing that everyone rewrites for themselves. Take it, and write yourself a part with a patent there. Regularly, as far as I know, 1c has not yet released version 10.3 with patent support, although there are already some blanks in the configuration.
If you have 10.3 written, rewritten - rewrite again, adding a patent.
If you have 10.3 full-time, then moving to version 11 is a matter of the 1st day.

No not like this.

from UTII for a patent

it is a system of taxation i.e. How will you calculate taxes and generate Regulated reporting
UT (any) and Retail are not suitable for this, they do not have functionality for Reg.reporting. All this is at the level of refinement.
UT is an accounting of buy / sell reflection of these actions, i.e. you can keep records. You can set up some kind of reporting for verification. Do I need more? ....
UTII and a patent according to the logic of accounting are not very different. Difficulty will arise if there are several types of activities, and the patent must be monitored so that it does not exceed the allowed amount. The first one needs to be thought over, but really without a donation, the second is a simple control with a sales report.
As a variant of the Transition, look at UNF. There you can set up a complete management / financial accounting
