Site integration with 1C. Where to store goods: in 1C or in the site admin panel?

I am designing a website. The admin panel will be either OpenCart or 1C.
There will definitely be several groups of users with different prices, discounts.
The number of goods is approximately 3-5 thousand. It is assumed that for each product there will be a description, photos, characteristics.
Question: where is it better to enter goods and description - in 1C or on the site? Now I see such a scheme: everything is on the site, except for the prices. Prices in 1C.
The integration of the site into 1C is the exchange of orders and prices.

Since it is much easier to modify the site than 1C, and there can potentially be a lot of content, the correct scheme is to import from 1C the product id, price, name, with the ability to change the name in the site admin panel. All other parameters needed on the site - enter through the admin panel.

if the configuration is self-written, then there is an option to store _all_ in 1C, including the picture (link to the file), all types of names, descriptions, incl. for site, tree. This will allow you to change everything centrally in one place. How to put it in opencart tables - You will probably figure it out.

Everything is stored in 1C, at least for my friend everything is the same with the store on the "opencart". The config is standard UT, it allows you to do everything in 1C, including properties, child products, photos, etc. Those. store catalog management is done in 1C.
