Is it possible to supply 24 volts to a 12 volt Peltier element?

There is a Chinese Peltier element 12V 60W TEC1-12706.
As follows from the datasheet, the nominal supply voltage for it is 12 volts, the maximum is 15 volts.
PWM is used for smooth Peltier power control.
The question is: is it possible to apply PWM with an amplitude of 24 volts to this element and adjust the average voltage value with a duty cycle? There should be no problems with overheating, because. there is a thermistor for feedback. Will Peltier burn out from impulses?
I didn't find any information about this in the open spaces.

Why look in the open - you can think with your head.
What burns out what can burn out from an impulse? - from local overheating.
Where in Peltier is the consumption of electric energy localized? - in the plane of connection of materials of the peltier element.
Can this plane burn out? - ))) Maybe if it will be sooo long iiimpulsyyy...
