Is it possible to somehow find out if my CPU and motherboard support this or that video card or is there no difference, just buy and use?
I have ryzen 5 1600 processor, ASROCK AB350 PRO4, SocketAM4, AMD B350 motherboard and want to buy gtx 1660 graphics card.

You can buy, it will work correctly. Processor performance should be enough, there will be no bottleneck. As for video cards, any modern ones can be plugged into this motherboard. Another question is whether it is advisable, but in your case everything is ok.
