Is it possible to set the Linux Mint taskbar to display on two monitors?
Good afternoon.
Question about Linux Mint with Cinnamon.
I have two monitors. I want to do the main work on the first one, and keep all sorts of background programs open on the additional one in order to periodically look at them.
But at the same time, there is only one taskbar (on the main monitor) and there are dice of any background nonsense from the second monitor, which interferes a little with active work, and is simply annoying.
Is it possible to make a separate taskbar on two different monitors, so that each displays dice for windows that are open only on this monitor?

This is an old question, but it might save someone some time.
Poked with this broken hour. Everything turned out to be "intuitive", and it is not necessary to install extensions.
Distribution Cinnamon 18.1
System Settings => Panel
Click "Add New Panel" select a location on the second monitor.
But, all of a sudden, the tasks do not get to the new panel, it remains empty.
To make it work properly, right click on the main monitor panel => Edit panel => "Copy applet configuration". On the new panel of the additional monitor, respectively
, "Insert applet configuration".
After copying the configuration, we get two independent panels for each monitor. Each gets windows open on the corresponding monitor.
