Is it possible to run a Diablo game in Docker under mac?

I want to play the new D2, but there is no game for mac. I heard that in some Docker you can run any application. Is this so and is it possible to run D2 in it, or, nevertheless, only Windows is needed for this business?

Docker only works under Linux. And on macOS through the Linux emulator.
If the game is available under Windows, then it's better to try running it through wine, a virtual machine, or BootCamp

On a Mac, docker runs by default through the VirtualBox virtual machine, which will eat resources to run another OS inside.
There will be fewer resources to eat if through the conditional wine / crossover, especially since the latter has already been verified to launch the old D2 ( link ), perhaps the new one will soon be adapted.
