Is it possible to run a computer without a processor?

In general, here is my config:
Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K
Video card: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 GAMING OC PRO WHITE
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z370-A
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 16GVRB Kit (2x8GB)
SSD: Samsung SSD 970 Evo M.2
PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Modular 80+ Gold
Dropsy: Thermaltake Water 3.0 240 ARGB Sync / All-in-One LCS
Why no processor ? The fact is that it will not come very soon (I order from Germany).
So, I want to let power from the power supply to the mother in order to check if the dropsy and, in other matters, the motherboard itself are working. Estimate plus or minus, is it worth it? Thank you!

Yes, it is possible, the power should rise, the coolers should spin, the dropsy should start. Things won't go any further.
ps: it would be better to save on the processor, but take a more powerful video card if the PC is for games. Yes, and dropsy is useless there - the Noctua tower will do just as well (or even better)

It's like starting the PSU by shorting the power pins. Well, the PSU will start, the coolers will spin - then what? Nothing further. The mother won't start.
