Good day. After updating the firewood in the Windows 7 system, the OS does not boot. It constantly reboots, reaching the Windows logo. There are no blue screens. It offers to restore from the disk, but there is no drive on the laptop. USB bootable sees, but does not start the installation from it. The question is: is it possible, by connecting the hard drive of this laptop to another PC, to roll back the installed firewood? Saw them in the registry or something else. Without reinstalling the system.

Why connect?
Just boot your computer from the installation disk, or go to the recovery menu via F8.
