Is it possible to restore a file in Notepad++?

Wrote code in js file. And then suddenly the computer froze. Windows started to write, like the program is closing. Opened the file again - pressed yes (along the way, I had to press no there) ... and I have an empty js file. I just want to cry. Is it possible to restore the file?

I ran into this problem myself. Looked at the folder where the backups are stored. In Notepad++ open: Options->Settings->Backup->Copy path. We go into the folder and look for the desired file. Most likely it lies there until the program is reset.

Yes, if you're lucky...
Maybe, if you're lucky...
Examine the storage locations of the application's temporary files, if they were not overwritten, restore from the drive and correctly slip the application so that it can import this temporary back. And besides, the application itself likes to backup even unsaved files, that you can write without a save, close the application and continue writing after opening ... Therefore, it all depends on skills and luck .... If the first is not, then this may be blocked by a cash or non-cash one-time financial investment in those who specialize in this ....

You can try recovering files through which thread of the program (for example, Power Data Recovery). Helped me.
