Is it possible to recover data after formatting a disk?

I had important data on the disk, I forgot to make a backup, demolished ubuntu, installed windows (i.e., I reformatted disk 1), then something happened, I formatted the disk again, installed ubuntu 18.04, then installed windows 10. Now I remembered that I had important data on the disk (about 1gb). But did this data survive after two formats? Can data be recovered? And how long will it last? Disk 500 gb (462 gb)

You might as well try searching. If you have only one logical drive, then it is noticeably larger than the OS after installation, and if you did not fill it with other data, then there may be a chance for recovery.
To begin with, I would advise you to stop using the disk so that the OS and other programs do not overwrite the necessary files with new information or swap. Your best bet is to remove the drive and plug it into another Windows computer. Or boot from a flash drive.
Download R.saver (data recovery software) in advance and run a full scan of the drive you formatted.
At the same time, it is important that you yourself also do not save anything to a formatted disk, incl. archive with R.saver.
If suddenly something is not clear, then just in case, herevideo about data recovery after formatting .

You are in a data recovery company, perhaps they can be partially identified and restored using metadata, the service is very expensive

perhaps some of the data survived, but you have to spend a lot of time. Look for a set of utilities for data recovery on the rutracker, there are also programs for recovering after formatting, for example, Easy Recovery Pro or something similar.
UPD: I would not rely on any one utility that is specifically recommended here, because I have repeatedly come across the fact that they all work in different ways and in different situations some vaunted programs may not work, unlike some shady unknown tool. Download the pack, try everything in order, maybe something unknown from the prog will just help, I already had this.

R-STUDIO scans in a couple of hours, and everything will become clear in the form of a directory tree. and there it’s your business to grunt or buy it, for restoration.
