Is it possible to receive a tip after the contract is closed?

Hello!
Actually, I completed 2 contracts.
One by one, the person asked me to make a small edit, I did it and he asked for my paypal to transfer the tip. I don't want to give him a PP so as not to get banned. I want to ask him to pay through a tip, is there such a thing? I know that during the contract there is (he throws up), but what about a closed contract? By the way, what is interesting, out of 10 reviews from this person, 4 profiles are banned (you open the profile and there the profile is supposedly not available)
Another person offered to work on his project for a month, but I also looked at his reviews, and half of them gave bad reviews, and I'm afraid that if I break the deadline somewhere within a month, I can also get such a review, so I want to work with him through a tip.

There are two ways out:
either you correspond with him outside of Upwork and do not burn anywhere that you are paying through PayPal.
or just open a new contract and let him give you bonuses through it, this is a matter of 5 minutes.
For the first case, there must be complete trust with the client, so that in which case he does not leak you to Upwork.
Personally, I prefer not to deal with such clients. A rating on Upwork is more expensive than a one-time small contract. You should not hope for a miracle that he will single you out this time.
