EMNIP, allowguest is responsible for connecting "guests" to the asterisk, that is, devices that try to connect without authentication; this parameter does not apply to calls through a trunk, because they (that is, not calls, but the trunks themselves) are not "guests", and have an authentication mechanism, and, sometimes, two-way.
