Is it possible to output sound over the network in mac os?

I bought myself a good speaker system, and a problem arose - I can’t keep it near the sound source.
Actually, the question has matured whether it is possible to make an audio output to some network device in mac os, i.e. a stereo amplifier is connected to the speakers, this amplifier, in turn, is connected to a raspberry pi on which some software is installed. On a poppy, I play music (let's say in VK), but it plays through speakers that are connected to the raspberry pi. Is it possible? if so, please advise the necessary software.

It is possible, for a poppy it is generally perfectly implemented through AirPlay:
A simpler option on the ball

A better option, but you need a key.

Perfectly controlled from any Apple device.

The options are different, you can start trying with PulseAudio.
