Hello.
At the moment there is a server with a Raid1 array. I want to install an SSD (switch the motherboard to AHCI) and save the array. I plan to install a hardware raid controller. How to connect the controller correctly? Is there any chance of data loss or array destruction? What raid controller do you recommend?

Do not use a hardware raid if the task is not worth losing all data

Archive the data, make a disk image, restore to a new REID.
With a blunt peretykanie discs, everything will be lost.
