How to RAID a system drive with existing data?

Hello!
On the Internet I find information only for non-system partitions. How to be in the case when there is already a Microsoft Windows Server Core with an installed system that I want to drive into a RAID.
Options for copying the system image through ala acronyms and then further scanning already on the screws with RAID seems to be at least a crutch.
Questions in general about RAID, since I'm not particularly strong in this, what options for creating a RAID are the most favorable in terms of reliability / resource consumption: collecting RAID before loading the OS in DOS, collecting RAID in Windows in the diskmgmt.msc snap-in, a cheap raid controller? At what price / what characteristics do normal controllers start for, which you can not be afraid of? Not on all machines we have a hardware RAID controller.

Go to the disk manager, click on the system partition with the mouse and press the button to create a mirror, or not a mirror, whatever you need there, wait for the rubber band, and that's it.
Oh yes, you have core.
Well then, everything is the same, but without the mouse. PS in your hands.

Why? Attach a RAID, install drivers for it, make sure that everything is OK - clone the system to RAID or transfer it through an image. Did it once and forgot.
Is this from the category "I want to know everything"?
Voice the tasks and budget - there will be specific answers.
For me, this is a normal server SSD - and no RAIDs are needed.
