Is it possible to move disks from host to host?

There are two physical servers. One has a raid controller, disks, ESXi running with several virtual machines. Can I move the raid controller with disks to another physical server? Will VMs run on another server if I do this?

Esxi versions 5.5 on source, 6.0 on target
