Is it possible to merge PDF files without losing hyperlinks using PHP?

A banal question that broke my head. I use TCPDF to generate PDF on the fly, and despite the slowdowns, I'm quite happy with this library. However, now it became necessary to merge several files while keeping all hyperlinks and active objects (input fields) active into one, and here I rested for a week, so I ask for help.

Simple googling and experiments with mPDF, PDFMerger, FDPF and FPDI did not give any result. There are no links in the resulting document. Using OS utilities like PDFTK is difficult for a number of reasons. Can you please tell me a library / class for PHP that can provide merging and not kill links?
