Is it possible to manually download DoubleGIS updates and upload them to the server in the local area so that it caches them and gives them to the afflicted?
There is a network separated from the Internet, where there is a need to update the DoubleGIS databases. The developers offer to release a local update server on the Internet, and install updates from it. Is it possible to manually download updates and put them on the server in LAN so that it caches them and gives them to those who suffer? Or it suits another option: the update server will stand in the Internet segment, download from the company's official server, and pick up files from it and upload them to the file server. Only will users take from it?

At our institution, DoubleGIS is updated on the server under WINE (once a month, at night).
The directory in which the files of this program are located ("...Program files\2gis") is available in read-only mode via samba. Users have a desktop shortcut ("\\srvname\2gis\3.0\grym.exe").
If your network bandwidth does not allow you to run files directly from the server, you can write a script (*.bat, *.cmd, something of your own) that will copy all the contents to a local directory (for example):
*I am not responsible for the correct syntax.
We just have users sitting with limited rights and cannot write anything to those directories from which launch is allowed.
Not quite satisfied with the option, because. we have a large number of users with a division of responsibilities between IT specialists on a geographical basis. Everyone drives their own container, everyone has their own policies, etc. In your version, we will have to make sure that everyone correctly heaps up their policies. And it was planned to just give a folder with updates. The best option is to upload files to the server so that it indexes them.
