Does the presence of the main site on a subdomain negatively affect its issuance in the search engine?
I now have a project on rates. choosing a domain, how to do better for SEO? Buy "myBrand.ru" and make a website through a subdomain (bets. "myBrand".ru) or don't bother with it and just buy the domain of the bid-"myBrand.ru"?
In the future, I may want to make a news project, it would be convenient to just put it on a subdomain (news."myBrand".ru).

The answer to the question here is simple - open the search results for several queries in which you will promote the site, and see how many subdomains there are. If there are less than 2 positions in the top 10 organics, do it on the main domain, if there are more, you can do it on a subdomain.
